on check in which was very late 12 midnight your reception clerk was most helpful and hospitable and greeted me by name as he was expecting me.He is a terrific ambassador for your establishment
the breakfast, desayuno was not up top be much and very unwelcoming the waitress was more interested in checking the room number than seating me and was very serly. I did not say for breakfast but left the hotel and dined elsewhere. a business associate joined me for breakfast but was made to feel unwelcome as she was not on list. so we left
Great location, close to public transport, friendly & helpful staff; many eating options near this hotel
Great location and friendly staff.
Unfortunately the bedspread had cigarette burns on and also the bedside cabinets. Also the food served for evening meal left a lot to be desired.
The hotel is in a great position for the beach, is clean and modern and makes a good base.Reception staff were friendly and cheerful. If you like fuengirola its in a perfect spot. personally, I prefer Marbella - its got more class. Fuengirola has too many "Bill & Jean's" English style cafes
tea and coffee making is not available in the rooms, and that would have been nice, the breakfast is continental style - no cooked options - and the dining room is in the basement which always seemed a bit gloomy - probably due to the lack of windows
The staff were wonderful: friendly, helpful, and incredibly welcoming. I was made to feel very much at home. It is in a beautiful location with ocean views, and with everything that you need within walking distance. There is a train (also just a short walk away) which connects you to the airport or to Malaga and from there, the other major centres in Spain. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting the Costa del Sol.
The wery friendly and helpful staf, an ok breakfastbuffet. the cleanliness of the hotel allover.
Well located for a romantic weekend.Centrally located so no need for car. Short distance from airport,
Very nice and clean room for a three-star hotel, also minibar filled. Friendly staff. The location at the shore and the balcony to the sea with the view to the rising sun is really something, if the traveller is looking for such.
The breakfast could start at 7.00 or at latest 7.30 o´clock. The sound insulation is poor, both between the rooms and to the street.
On arrival we were met by friendly staff. The rooms allocated were wonderful, right at he front of the hotel with beautiful sea views. The location of the hotel is second to non. would defintiely recommend to friends and family.
the only thing I would say is the rooftop pool could do with a bit of updating, possibly with provision for some shade.
very close to beach and restaurants. Within easy walking distance to the lovely shops. Rooms quite rustic but very clean and comfortable.
would have liked a hot breakfast instead of continental.
I liked the fact that it was small (only 50 rooms), had loads of character, was very comfortable and in a great location near to an array of very good bars and restaurants. The local bus and train station were very close (about 10 minutes by foot) so perfect for travel to neighbouring resorts or places of interest.
the staff were helpful and pleasant through out our stay. The location is excellent and breakfast was very good and the restaurant was pleasant to visit.
The location of this hotel is excellent. Across the road from beach, few minutes walk from trian station, which comes direct from Airport. Lots and lots of restaurants very close by.
The staff were very quiet, and not that friendly- but not rude... The bed was very very uncomfortable...
Very central, good staff.
My room was charged at the time of booking, even though it states on the website nothing would be charged until the day of arrival. The hotel tried to charge me extra for sea view.
I enjoyed my six days at the Villa Laredo because I felt very relaxed there. No one hassling to get into my room (ok so it didnt get made up a couple of days, but that was my fault for being in it!) . I loved having my own little balcony with chair and table. I paid a good rate for late booking and still had a view of the sea and the room was comfortable overall. Reading light good and bed fine. Nice white cotton sheets, if a little worn, were as always a pleasure. Most of the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. A very good place for solo travellers I think.
I did not like the breakfast at all. I was glad it was included in the price, but was tempted to go out at times. Coffee , usually a delight in Spain, is poor, plastic slabs of ham and cheese and very dry bread of various sorts. Icy cold hard boiled eggs werent very enticing either. I like muesli but theirs was loaded with sugar. I think they are very generous in their spread, nothing is missing, it just has no soul at all. I did encounter a female at the desk who was quite rude. She kept on talking to a customer the whole time she grudgingly served me my drink. I wasnt delighted when workmen started work on exterior outside my room but as it was early season, I figured they had to get the work done.
